Our History

Devon was founded with a mandate on a Russian GKO trade from a Greek family office to assess whether the Tier 1 bank that sold the asset swap package to the office was obligated to perform on the FX portion of the trade.

 First settlement was the GKO transaction. Mediated and settled favorably in excess of 90%.

Devon supported miss-selling claims for bank investors in CDOs and CDO2s from Italy and Germany across the capital structure.

Additional engagements with large noteholders in CDO and CDO2

Devon retained by a global insurer and monolines to defend against collateral calls on super senior swaps.

Devon successfully executed its duties related to a fund valuation engagement of a distressed hedge fund.

A New York regulator appointed Devon to three separate monitorships of certain global financial institutions relating to foreign exchange manipulation and breaches in AML/AFC. Devon celebrates completing more than 20 major engagements since inception
